Description:
Seer Trading Platform is an software application for the building, backtesting, optimizing and automatic trading of stock, futures and forex trading systems. Seer is able to backtest and optimize multiple systems, with each system using a portfolio of symbols across multiple time frames using an event based backtesting engine.

Regardless of the complexity of your system rules or the number of symbols used, Seer Trading Platform performs backtesting in a single pass with account cash balances, positions and trade history available for each bar. This allows you to build complex position sizing while managing your risk.

The backtesting engine includes special support for forex which including the handling of none base currency pairs (cross rates) and mark-to-market currency conversions.

A whole set of technical analysis indicators is included as well as a framework for building your own, using a simple but powerful scripting environment. Support for the R programming language is also provided.

Multiple orders can be placed by every symbol on the same bar with market, stop, limit and stoplimit orders all supported naively. You can also place orders with implicit Time in Force (TIF) and implicit One Cancels All (OCA) which makes complex order management much easer. You can also express these options explicitly, allowing full control of the order life cycle.

Once you have built your system you can automatically trade your system using Interactive brokers and DTN's IQFeed. As Seer is event based, no changes are needed for your trading system. It's just a single click away for full hands feed automatic trading.

When connected to a real-time datafeed, Seer can open multiple charts for multiple symbols across multiple time frames even when multiple trading systems are auto trading.
